Reading the numbers
Exhibition statistics are easy to quote and harder to interpret, so it helps to look at what each figure says.
- Visitors show reach: 25,000 trade visitors over three days means a stand on a busy aisle can expect a steady flow of qualified people, not just passers-by.
- The seniority of visitors shows buying power. When managing directors, vice presidents, CEOs, COOs and chairmen make up a large share of the top job titles, the people who sign purchase orders are in the halls.
- Meetings and deals show results. More than 1,050 confirmed buyer–exhibitor meetings and 80% of clients reporting business deals indicate that the event works as a marketplace, not just a showcase.
- Return intentions show satisfaction. When 90% of exhibitors and 89% of visitors say they will come back, both sides are getting value.
Who was there
The post-show report lists exhibitors from 23 countries: Austria, Canada, China, France, Germany, India, Italy, Japan, Malaysia, the Netherlands, Poland, South Korea, Spain, Swaziland, Sweden, Switzerland, Taiwan, Thailand, Turkey, the UAE, the United Kingdom, the USA and Vietnam. A dedicated “China in Pakistan” presence brought machinery, cleanroom and packaging material makers. On the visitor side, the profile ranged from manufacturers, exporters and distributors to pharmacists, regulators, commercial attachés, researchers and students.
The convention
The 13th International Pharma Convention ran alongside the exhibition, with sessions on compliance and exports, Pakistan Pharma Vision 2030, the pathway to PIC/S compliance, 2D barcoding and track and trace, supply-chain logistics and Annex 1 for sterile production. Many of those topics have since turned into regulation — read the themes that shaped the debate.
What it tells the industry
Taken together, the figures describe an event where the sector’s decision makers meet the suppliers they buy from and the regulators who oversee them. For a company deciding whether to exhibit or visit in 2026, the practical question is not only how many people come, but whether the right people do — and the visitor profile suggests they do.
How the figures are collected
Exhibition results like these come from the organiser’s own records and surveys: visitor registrations at the entrance, exhibitor bookings, meetings arranged between buyers and exhibitors, and questionnaires completed by exhibitors and visitors after the show. Survey percentages describe the people who answered, so they are best read as a measure of satisfaction rather than a precise count. Taken together with the headline attendance, they give the clearest picture available of how the event performed.
